The Happiest Baby I Know, Dallas Family Photographer

Let's talk about this session for a minute. One of my best friends had a baby a few months ago, but she lives in Taiwan, so I didn't get to meet him until a few weeks ago when they came home for a visit.  Let me just say this little guy had me at hello.  He is all smiles and laughs, and even when he's sleepy or hungry, he's low-key about it. And he's stinkin' cute, the perfect addition to transform a couple into a family. I loved doing these photos and hope we manage a few more before they head home. Because, really, when you meet the happiest baby in the world, why wouldn't you want to take his photo?

The A Twins One-Year Session, Dallas Baby Photographer

Sunday marked the end of a year following the A twins.  I loved their newborn and six-month  sessions and was excited to see these little ladies again.  We scheduled their session for September, but the near hundred degree temperatures led to a first in my history as a photographer: we absolutely could not get the girls interested in photos. We rescheduled the session for October, hoping for better weather and happier babies.  That's just what we got.  These two have distinct personalities and a lot of love, and it's been amazing watching them grow this year.  I can hardly wait for their two-year session, but in the meantime here's the sneak peek...

Here's how the first session went:

Rescheduling was a great idea.  Proof:

Happy Birthday, Super G, Dallas Baby Photographer

Last week Super G celebrated his first birthday, and this little man's whole entire family came out to celebrate.  I've known Super G since he was two-months-old, as I got to be his nanny and his photographer.  I adore this baby, and everyone at the party shared my sentiment.  We mixed the party with a photo session, and I think these one-year photos capture the life and love surrounding Super G so well.  I am so excited to go through the whole session, but in the meantime, a sneak peek for his proud parents.

To read Super G's whole story, jump over to my personal blog.  He makes the world a better place.

And She's Off... Dallas Baby Photographer

My little friend, baby Claire, celebrated her first birthday, and she is off and running.  Her mama decided to commemorate her newfound mobile skills and one-year milestone with a mini-session at the Fort Worth Zoo.  Not only is the zoo a great location for a one-year-old to explore; it's a fantastic location for photos in the spring.  We took advantage of half-price Wednesdays at the zoo.  Claire loved being the only kiddo to hold her mom's and my attention (she's the youngest of four; see their holiday family session here), and she walked and ran and laughed her way through the zoo and our day.  What a sweetheart!  What a great day!

Double A, the Six-Month Session...Dallas Baby Photographer

I first met these two little ladies in November, and they were a bit smaller then... The A family is full of lots of love and life, and getting to see how the girls have grown and changed made my Saturday.  Each has her own distinct personality, and they both light up around their parents and grandparents.  I love baby plan families, because I get to watch the sweetness of a family coming into its own, whether that means setting up the same shots to show changes or seeing one baby grin with Dad while the other cries with Mom.  The A twins are adorable and captivating, and the world is a better place with them in it.  I'm already counting down to their birthday session...
