My Brother is Getting Married! Dallas Wedding Photographer

It's my brother's birthday today, so I thought it would be a good day to post his engagement photos, taken in Fort Worth last week.  This is the second round of engagement photos, as we did their first set out-of-town. Jay's in the Air Force, so Kendall wanted some photos around her home town, as she'll be moving once they get married in June. These two laugh a lot and are so at ease together that you can't help but have a blast every time you're with them. Every time. I'm so excited for their wedding and am excited to share this sneak peek.  Happy birthday, Jaybo!

Love looks like... Dallas Couples Photographer

Love looks like a low-key afternoon with friends before dinner in the warm light that arrives just before the sun goes to sleep.  I love the simplicity of these images and the story they tell.

Jess and Rich are ENGAGED! Fort Worth Wedding Photographer

Jess is one of my best friends, and our friendship spans almost twenty years. That doesn't make us feel old, though; it makes us feel fortunate. That said, when Jess told me she was engaged, I could barely contain my excitement. When I met Rich, it was evident these two belong together. Actors living in New York, they sing and dance and absolutely love life. Together loving life looks that much sweeter, that much fuller, that much better. I cannot wait for their wedding, but I love the page that they're on now. We took these photos in downtown Fort Worth when Jess came home for Christmas and introduced those who love her to Rich. I cannot wait to share the full set of images.

Jenny and Joey are MARRIED! Fort Worth Wedding Photographer

Rain did not damper the mood on Jenny and Joey's wedding day, though rain it did.  Instead, the mood on the day was festive and light, full of laughter and joy, celebration and commitment.  The bridal party's love for Jenny and Joey absolutely shone, and the love of this couple? So beautiful.  By the time I went home, my face hurt from smiling.  It was such a perfect day.  I loved this wedding and am so excited for this couple.

The ceremony took place at Christ Chapel and started with a first look.

Jenny's a teacher, so she wanted a shot with her students. I love this.

The reception was amazing.  Jenny's parents are artists and painted the art that hung on the walls at 809 at Vickery.  The attention to detail was stunning, the band was fantastic, and Jenny and Joey were well honored.

Jenny's Bridals, Dallas Wedding Photographer

Jenny's wedding was Saturday, which means I can finally share her bridal photos, taken at the Fort Worth Club and around Sundance Square this fall. Let me say something about this bridal session (besides the fact that Jenny is stunning and fantastic to work with): we laughed a lot.  Every bride should bring a team to her bridal session. Not only did Jenny's mom and sister help with her dress, veil and hair; they also helped her relax, kept her laughing and made sure everything went smoothly.  I love these photographs.  That said, I cannot wait to blog Jenny's wedding very soon...
