My Brother is Getting Married! Dallas Wedding Photographer

It's my brother's birthday today, so I thought it would be a good day to post his engagement photos, taken in Fort Worth last week.  This is the second round of engagement photos, as we did their first set out-of-town. Jay's in the Air Force, so Kendall wanted some photos around her home town, as she'll be moving once they get married in June. These two laugh a lot and are so at ease together that you can't help but have a blast every time you're with them. Every time. I'm so excited for their wedding and am excited to share this sneak peek.  Happy birthday, Jaybo!

Adam and Margot are Getting Married!! Dallas Wedding Photographer

In honor of Adam and Margot's April 2012 wedding, friends hosted an engagement party Sunday afternoon.  It was one of those parties where everyone laughed and smiled and swapped stories.  The happiness in the room centered around genuine excitement for the soon-to-be bride and groom. Great wine and yummy treats ensured everyone enjoyed themselves, and this couple? They are in love and excited to take the next step together. I loved being there to capture the feel of the day, and I'm excited to share this sneak peek.  Congratulations, Adam and Margot!

The Ks are better than OK... Dallas Lifestyle Photographer in Austin, Texas

Meet the Ks.  Of this couple I have this to say: they love well, they laugh lots and they live life like it matters.  Because it does.  They're one of those couples you'd like to hang out with all day long; trust me.  If you happen to be the photographer doing their session, they are up for anything, so long as fun gets thrown in the mix.  If you also happen to be their houseguest at the time, you might find one to be a great running buddy and the other to be happy to share his mad bbq skills with your growling stomach.  Those are good things but even better is sharing a few hours with them and a camera and then coming home to play with their little guy... also a perfect delight.

Erika is a photographer as well, so check out her work.  It's good stuff.  I was so glad she and her little man took some time to play in the backyard while I had my camera out, as sometimes the photographer-mama combo means photos with said mama in them are lacking...

P.S. I LOVE working in Austin, so if you're there and are interested in a session, let me know!

Loveisintheair. Dallas Couples Photographer/ Dallas Engagement Photography

One December day my little sister and her boyfriend wanted a photo shoot (p.s. they're not engaged... just great together).  I don't typically show personal work on this blog, however, I am absolutely in love with these shots.  And besides Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and I need 2-3 couples to help me with a project (no session fee + print credit for a fun romantic shoot).  Annd in addition to that, wedding seasoon is right around the corner.  I have limited wedding availability left for 2011 and am taking 2012 bookings now.

What better way to get the word out than to post some photographs to get you thinking?  If you and your sweetie are interested in modeling for me, send an email my way, and you're in so long as I hear from you before the sessions are given away (I'll start a waiting list too, for a second project that may be in the works).

If you and your sweetie are getting married, send an email my way to get the wedding scoop and conversation started.  You can find me at erinblinnphoto@gmail.com.

And how lovely are these two?  I just love 'em together.  I love that you can see their connection in these images.  And I love that they wanted photos taken to remember this sweet time in their young lives.
