I Love Little Lady L, Dallas Baby Photographer

It's amazing to watch a little one grow up, and this little lady is close to my heart, belonging to a dear friend of mine. Last time I saw her was when she was born, as Washington is her home and a bit far from DFW. That said, we hit it off right from the get-go. Snow and freezing weather kept us indoors for basically my entire trip, so I don't have any outdoor winter photos to show. Though those photos are missing from the set, I was pleased to come home to a mix of photos that represent L's personality quite well.  I can hear her little voice chirping when I look at these. I cannot wait to see her again in the summer when her baby brother joins the family.

We only managed a handful of family shots at the airport just before I left, but don't they look ready for a baby boy?

The Happiest Baby I Know, Dallas Family Photographer

Let's talk about this session for a minute. One of my best friends had a baby a few months ago, but she lives in Taiwan, so I didn't get to meet him until a few weeks ago when they came home for a visit.  Let me just say this little guy had me at hello.  He is all smiles and laughs, and even when he's sleepy or hungry, he's low-key about it. And he's stinkin' cute, the perfect addition to transform a couple into a family. I loved doing these photos and hope we manage a few more before they head home. Because, really, when you meet the happiest baby in the world, why wouldn't you want to take his photo?

Introducing Jack! Dallas Newborn Photographer

I met Jack when he was 17-days-old, and he charmed his way right into my heart.  His mom and dad were so relaxed with their little man, who preferred being held close to being set down for photographs.  And yet, when he did settle, he was so snuggly and sweet. Isn't he such a handsome baby? He looked into the camera with such intensity, like he was trying to figure it out. And his newborn smiles are beyond captivating. I am so excited sharing the full set of images with his parents but for tonight, a sneak peek will have to do.

I Love Watching Babies Grow, Dallas Family Photographer

In September, I had the privilege of photographing Graham's newborn session (click here to view). Sunday I got to see just how much baby Graham has grown in the past couple of months while updating their family photos.  I love the affection in these images, and I love the happiness of these two little boys.  Sunday was cold... windy and cold... so we did these photos while trying to block wind and keep the boys warm.  I love that those adverse factors aren't what shines through in these images.  What I see when I look at these is love. And watching a baby and his big brother grow up so very loved?  That makes my day.

There's nothing quite like watching a little one grow up, and my little buddy Super G is growing up way too quickly.  I love his easy smiles and vibrant expressions.  What a beautiful boy! We had such a blast catching up and snapping updated photographs for Christmas.  I always, always love a session with Super G.
